Jan Celliers

Jan Celliers was born 25 June 1967 and grew up in Delmas.
He has been married to Heleen for the last 14 years and they have 3 children.
Jane (12), Johannes (10) and Stephanie (8).
He lives in Delmas and works in Pretoria.

In October 2007 he happened to listen to a song by Casting Crowns with the lyrics:
"we save the trees and kill the children...",
through this God started speaking to him.
He visited Henda Bosman at Born to Care in Heidelberg and knew this is what God needed in Delmas....
A pregnancy crisis centre!
He contacted Jolanda Nel and she bought into the vision.
On 29 February 2008, this "baby" was born. Since then 20 volunteers joined and 87 women have been counselled (stats as at 1 February 2010). One third have chosen life and 16 babies to date have been born.
He believes that in due time God will open doors and that Born 2 Care will have its own center.
Through B2C's School Ministry 490 children have been ministered to in 2009 Owethu School program.

Jan is a true visionary and often says we must see and think of things as if they are already there, though we can't see them. So Jan had the vision and Heleen the mission with a great team of volunteers!
