Balloons for Life
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is celebrated worldwide each year on the last Sunday in January. This day has been celebrated since 1983
to affirm the value of all human life and is an especially important day for pregnancy crisis centres, as it is the day that embodies
our cause - to prevent the scurge of abortions infecting our community and valuing the lives of those around us.
This year we decided to involve our entire community, inviting everyone from Delmas, Eloff, Sundra, Botleng and all outlying areas,
to bring their friends and family along and together, as the greater Delmas Community, to take a stand against abortion!
"Balloons for Life" was held on 3 February at the Delmas Golf Club at 11:00 where the community gathered and collected
their balloons. At 12:00 we said a prayer blessing Delmas and our community, declaring that we value life and together let over 500
balloons up into the air! What an amazing experience!
We at Born 2 Care would like to say a very special thank you to each and every individual in Delmas who not only supported us on this
day, but provided ongoing support throughout the past 5 years in our mission to do God's work in Delmas in taking care of those
faced with a crisis pregnancy and providing them a haven of support and somewhere to turn.
We are a Christian non-profit organisation dedicated to uplifting the greater Delmas community
